The app doesn't have advanced features like multiple cleaning modes or automated scheduling. It is compatible with Alexa but its voice controls don't seem to be very intuitive or responsive. It's also a little erratic when it returns to the charging station after a run. Other robots can follow the wall or trace an earlier route however the RX3 is a mess until it quits.
Another issue we had was with its clever features, particularly the mapping function as well as digital keep-out zones. While it did a decent job of keeping away from our furniture legs and shoes but it could easily be hung up by cables and socks and it was not able to manage the tassels of rugs. We didn't include the Scout RX3 on our Best Buy list.
